Summit Concert Programs
The FSU Flute Summit is dedicated to innovative and
creative exploration of the flute in its diverse manifestations
of expressive culture throughout the world and across
hisorical periods. This inaugural symposium is especially
concerned with the traditions from the Americas and
the muliple roles of the flute, music and related
practices in health and healing, broadly construed
as beign related to the physical, psychological, social,
emotional and spiritual/religious dimensions of a
culture.
Within this framework, summit themes will
