Sara Nodine holds music degrees from Furman University (piano and violin) and Florida State University (musicology). She also holds a MLIS and Specialist degree (concentration in leadership & management) from the iSchool at Florida State University. Ms. Nodine has served as the Head of Collection Development for the Allen Music Library since 2010 and previously served as the library’s Circulation/Reserves Manager. She is an active member of the Music Library Association at the national and chapter level, presenting at conferences and serving in various capacities on committees, as a board member, and as the Publicity & Outreach officer. She also serves as on the Music Advisory Board for EBSCO and has been active in other organizations including the Society for American Music and the American Musicological Society. In addition to her work in the music library, Ms. Nodine is one of the instructors for the graduate Music Bibliography course and remains active with various orchestras in the Florida panhandle.
