Mission Statement

The College of Music offers a comprehensive program of instruction for all students who expect to become professionals in the field of music. For general University students, it offers a wide spectrum of opportunities for disciplined personal growth and creative achievement. In addition, it produces and sponsors musical events that enhance the cultural life of the campus, the community, and the surrounding region.

The College of Music is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
