MARK FROELICH, Assistant Librarian in Collection Development at the Warren D. Allen Music Library, came to FSU in 1998. He holds a Master's degree in Library Science from FSU, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory/Composition from the University of Minnesota, where he was also a library assistant.
Mr. Froelich is a member of the American Library Association and the Music Library Association and has cataloged the works of Franciszek Zachara (1898-1966) and John Boda (1922-2002) for the first time since their deaths. Mr. Froelich takes interest in Sanskrit and Japanese, and holds a Master's degree in Religions of Asia. Mr. Froelich has also done a first-time translation of two Buddhist-Sanskrit works into English.
