Elementary Music Day Camp

Monday, June 10 - Friday June 14, 2013 from 8:00am-Noon

The Elementary Music Day Camp brings all of the experience and excitement of our camps to beginning musicians. The Elementary Music Day Camp is designed to help children develop a life-long love of music. Campers will be exposed to singing, playing instruments, moving to music, creating music, and the basics of reading and writing music. Campers will also have the opportunity to experience music from around the world. Camp will conclude with an exciting performance in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall where campers will demonstrate what they’ve learned.

Camp will take place daily from 8:00am-Noon.

Camp Details  
Registration opens on January 3, 2013
Eligibility Campers must have attended grades K-5 in the ‘12-’13 school year.
We also accept children 5 years or older who are entering Kindergarten in Fall 2013.
Ability level Beginner.
Cost for Day Campers $110.00
This is a day camp only. No housing is available for campers at this camp.
Camp Hours 8:00am - Noon
Camp Check-In Monday, June 10, 2013
7:00-7:45am (EST)
Camp will begin immediately following check-in.
Camp Check-Out Friday, June 14, 2013
A final concert will be held on this day. Check-out will follow the performance.
Audition Required? No audition required.

Important Things to Note
  • There will be snack time each day so parents are encouraged to send a snack and/ beverage with your child.
  • Additional information will be provided after you have registered for camp.
  • Daily drop-off and pick-up of campers will take place in the circular driveway on the north side entrance of Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. A map and instructions will be provided.
