Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are the box office hours?
A. Our office hours are Monday-Friday: 11am-2pm. On evenings where there is a ticketed performance, the box office will be open 90 minutes prior to the start of the concert.

Q. Where are you located?
A. The College of Music Box Office is located in the lobby of Ruby Diamond Concert Hall, in room 101 of the Westcott Building. If you enter Westcott from the fountain side and go down the steps, the box office will be to your right.

Q. Parking at FSU is terrible! Where can I park if I want to come to the box office to purchase tickets?
A. You may park in the Westcott Welcome lot across Copeland Street from the Westcott Building. Enter the lot from College Avenue and let the attendant know you are there to purchase tickets from the College of Music Box Office. Click here to see a map.

Q. Why don't you take credit cards?
A. As a newly established box office, we have not yet qualified for credit card processing through FSU. We hope to be able to provide you with this service in the near future.

Q. If you don't take credit cards, how can I purchase my tickets over the phone?
A. Though we can not take credit card payments over the phone, we can hold tickets under your name to be picked up and paid for prior to the concert. Once your tickets are on hold, come anytime during regular box office hours or up to 30 minutes prior to the concert to pay for your tickets. Unpaid tickets will be held under your name until 30 minutes prior to the performance. If you have not picked them up by 30 minutes before the start of the performance, they will be released for sale. (**Exceptions to this policy exist for the PRISM, Seasonal Celebration and Rainbow concerts. Please see our ticket policies page for further details).

Q. Can I buy tickets over the Internet?
A. At this time you can not purchase tickets over the Internet.

Q. I forgot to get cash before the performance and I want to buy tickets at the door. What can I do?
A. There is an ATM machine nearby: A Bank of America ATM outside of Bill's Bookstore.

Q. Where can we park for performances?
A. If you are not a UMA subscriber, the best place to park for performances is at the parking garage on the corner of Call Street & Macomb. If you are a UMA subscriber at the Patron level or above, you can access one of the following reserved parking lots with your parking pass: The Mecca Lot (next to Bill's Bookstore); The Brinkley Lot (across from Ruby Diamond); or the The Beckham Lot (on Call Street, across from the Housewright Building). Handicap accessible parking is available on Convocation Way and in the Longmire lot off of Convocation Way.
