PASIC 2007
FSU Percussion Ensemble to be featured at PASIC 2007 in Columbus!
Florida State was one of three featured university percussion ensemble winners of the Percussive Arts Society International Percussion Ensemble Competition, and will performed at the 2007 PASIC Convention in Columbus, OH. They joined fellow winners University of Kentucky and Northwestern University at the convention, and pictures from the tour and convention may be in our media section.
Our tour began with a PASIC preview concert at FSU on Sunday, October 28th at 8pm in Opperman Music Hall, then to McEachern High School in Marietta, GA on October 29th at 8pm, and Eastern Kentucky University on October 30th at 8pm, before our PASIC conert on Nov. 2.
The programs may be viewed below, and more media (including rehearsal podcasts) are being added now that we're back from the convention. We are thrilled and honored to represent the Florida State University College of Music and the State of Florida at this prestigious event.
