Research
The National Institute for Infant & Child Medical Music Therapy maintains an active research program through the work of Institute Fellows and FSU Music Therapy faculty and students. The development of evidence-based practice in medical music therapy has been profoundly impacted by the integration of research into the education and training of music therapists. Many of these studies have also resulted in benefits for hospital staff and patient and understanding of the possibilities of medical music therapy. The following are recently completed medical music therapy research projects with infants and children.
