Below you will find what constitutes a complete application. Use the information found on the Online Status Check page to check your application progress. Report suspected discrepancies to the College of Music Admissions Office (musicadmissions@fsu.edu or 850.644.6102).
Please be sure that all application materials that are to be submitted to the College of Music arrive well in advance of your scheduled audition. Materials received after an audition may not be considered.

- This list is NOT what you intend to perform at your audition. We will ask that of you the day of your audition. Instead, this is a list of all significant works you have studied to date.

At Least One Letter of Recommendation
- Download this form.
- Complete Part A and submit to your provider.
- The provider should complete Parts B and C and submit the form to the College of Music using the mailing address provided.

Transfer Release Form
- If you are a transfer student and receiving scholarship at your current institution, you must submit this release form.

Important Dates and Deadlines

October 15
- Freshman Applications - FSU General Application (NOT College of Music Supplemental Application) completion deadline for first notification date on December 19.
- In order to receive notification from FSU on December 19, your FSU application and all supporting documents must be received on or before October 15. More Details here: http://admissions.fsu.edu/freshman/admissions/deadlines.cfm

December 1
- Priority Deadline to begin the Music Application process and register for an audition.
- The College of Music will continue to accept applications after December 1st until audition dates fill.

January 14
- Freshman Applications - FINAL FSU Completion deadline for notification on March 20
- In order to receive notification from FSU on March 20, your FSU application and all supporting documents must be received on or before January 14. More Details here: http://admissions.fsu.edu/freshman/admissions/deadlines.cfm

January - February

|
March 11-22- College of Music Notification Week
- The College of Music will make final admissions decisions for all applicants during this period and notifications will be mailed by March 11. Please be sure your academic application to FSU is complete well in advance. Incomplete applications and academic issues will result in delayed notification.
- Transfer Students: Notifications will begin on March 11 for students with completed FSU applications. Academic issues and incomplete files can delay notification by several months.
