Alumni
The Music Theatre Program takes pride in having distinguished alumni, with former students having appeared on Broadway most recently in Memphis, The Addams Family, West Side Story, South Pacific, Hair, Finian’s Rainbow, Wicked, 9 to 5, Spamalot, Hairspray, and The Drowsy Chaperone. Past Broadway credits for alumni have also included Beauty and the Beast, Les Misérables, Bells are Ringing, Cabaret, CATS, Chicago, 42nd Street, Fosse, The Full Monty, Grease, Kiss Me Kate, Miss Saigon, Oklahoma, Steel Pier, Titanic, Urinetown, Victor/Victoria, and The Wild Party, among others.
Alumni of the Music Theatre Program have appeared Off-Broadway in numerous productions, including The Fantasticks, and in national and international tours including most recently, In the Heights, A Chorus Line, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, South Pacific, Legally Blonde, Grease, Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof, The Drowsy Chaperone, and CATS. In the past they have been seen in Big, Cabaret, Chess, Crazy for You, Evita, Fosse, Grand Hotel, Les Misérables, Ragtime, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Smokey Joe’s Café, Some Like It Hot, South Pacific, Sunset Boulevard, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Titanic, The Twenty-fifth Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and The Will Rogers Follies, as well as many regional theatre productions. Yet other alumni are working in film and television.
